Dear gawd almighty, there must be something in the water if so many people can spend so much time talking about something so irrelevant.
Nasty people who spend all their time bitching and moaning about others weight, what they think is ugly/beautiful in a person in the sense of their appearance... jeebus - get a life and a personality that extends beyond your wrinkled up disgusted nose at the irrelevant imperfections of everyone who walks past you in the street.
Food is infinitely more interesting to discuss, when you're not obsessed with fatness/thiness etc
Hotel Chocolat Dark Chocolate Champagne truffles for example - beautiful things but a tad too boozey for me.
A perfectly prepared wild mushroom risotto with gremolata. Does the gremolata clash with parmesan sprinkled on the risotto?
Are mid course palate cleansers such as granita or sorbet, totslly pretentious and passe?
Booze as food? Bloody Mary's, Pimms, Hot choclate with brandy...
Sex is great fun to discuss.
Books? Films? Music? Politics? Religion? Imagination? Fantasies? Amusing anecdotes? Can anyone identify this spot on my bum?

Give me a spot on the bum over a chip on the sholder anyday. As for the fat/thin thing. Who gives a shit? We all have our own tastes and we should all respect an individuals choices. It's when people try to dictate and shout about certain body shapes etc that gets my goat. Me? I love curvy, big, plump, whatever women. Skinny don;t do it for me. But then i might meet one tomorrow who totally flicks my switch. You just never know and it's at least 50% to do with the mental as well as the physical. Thats my input to the matter for what it's worth anyway. Toodle-pip chickens. | ||

I could not care less about a person's weight and have dated people who were 8 stone up to 16 stone. I am completely imperfect and happy to be so. I am not sure about food though as this does not interest me, but I agree with books, films, music, politics et al. With regards to books I have just finished a book about internet stalking called Home Before Dark and I would definitely recommend it. M
