Went to the Tate Modern today with a friend. I have to say I didn't see anything there as good as my MASTERPIECE (scroll back to my log of 17th April I did a painting for my wall) but there were one or 2 things that were Ok. Nice pic of some waterlilies by some bloke that sounded vaguely familiar, i liked his choice of colours. Well done mate. Some odd things by a chap called Picasso, bit urmmm like a jigsaw that hasn't been put together properly but some folk seemed to like it. Oh a bloody massive scary bronze spider that I actually liked in a sort of perverse fearful way. Should any millionaires out there fancy me as their sub i'd like that in the garden. Would look nice with clematis growing up it. However some very very strange wierdo modern art bollocks too. Now come on is it "emperor's new clothes" syndrome or am i missing something?

I must say I did maybe laugh a bit too loud at a urmmmm "artpiece"? Not sure what to refer to it as. We'll say artpiece to preserve the sensibilities of those of a nervous disposition. It was a row of maybe 10 hemispheres painted grey (yes grey, all of them) with rope hanging from each one and the end of each rope was coiled nicely on the floor. The rope was grey too, good colour match but not much else i can say. Dangerous really I might pop back with sissors tomorrow just to tidy it up. Oh and some paint to add some interest and colour. But please??? Seriously now. Come ONNNNNNNNNNNN how is that art?

Oh oh oh and hahhahahha someone stole my idea. I had BLUE left when i did my MASTERPIECE. You'll recall I freely offered to do a blue MASTERPIECE for anyone interested. WELL - there was a blue painting there. Yes really truly. Just blue. Lovely colour of blue, cant deny it but that was it. Plagerism (how is that spelt?) except of course they painted it before I offered to do evil twin a blue painting. I reckon my red orange and yellow MASTERPIECE must be worth at least £2.5m judging by what i've seen today. Any offers?

Am I really so uncultured or do I just need those glasses that show you the emperor's new clothes properly?
