I did a post Definitions of Vanilla some time ago; it was meant as a light hearted observation. Got some feedback so to answer some of the criticisms
1 quote “Yes because all vanilla people are stupid and crap in bed” Not true I have had some great times in bed, S&M, is the cherry on the top of my cake. It doesn't define my whole life.
2 quote “I loath the attitude that we are somehow better or even just different” no I am not better than them (it only means that I am more open minded than a lot of people I know)
3 small minded attitudes I live is a small town, everybody needs some thing to gossip about the more vicious it is the better. I have lived in this place most of my life. I experienced something akin to that at a local munch. I was presented with two fat lesbian Goth chicks snogging on the door. I was so impressed by their superiority I just ignored them, if you eat to much and you dont exercise you become fat!!!! So fuck off and stop trying to be superior.

Just occurs to me that maybe the two fat Goth chicks were snogging because they fancied each other, and why not? Perhapos the feelings about them being superior says nothing at all about their attitude and maybe more about yours? If you don't like what you see, what you read, then just move along. You may have a point but the situation was, it was a munch in a vanilla setting. My first one in fact, they were trying to make a point. Yes I felt a little vulnerable and no I didn't need that. (I may have misread the situation but I don't think so) I go down the Hatchet in Bristol and you don't get that kind of attitude at all, its a gay, fetish and vanilla place where people tolerate each other. At SWAMP their behavior, no problem at the party but not at the daytime market. I am bi so couldn't care less but the way they intimidated people coming in it was commented on.
