Well for the last year I have been wanting a very large picture for a big bare wall in the flat, I wanted bright, I wanted colour, I wanted oranges, yellows and reds. I had seen a couple of pictures that would be "Just Right" but they ranged from the horrif-fuck-fic £200 to the frighteningly ridiculous bugger off and beat me stupid £1200. So out of the question obviously. THEN..... duh der daaaaaa. I went to Camden Market last week with a subbie mate and we saw quite a variety of things that would be "OK" rather than "Just Right". But they were still a bastard amount of money. So I inspected and looked at them from all angles and thought toss that for a game of soldiers - I can do that.
Oh yes indeedy just call me Rolf. Can you tell what it is yet?? I bloody cant, but a basic set of acrylic paints from WH Smith and a large MDF board from B&Q (where else would a deviant shop??) has resulted in, if I say so myself, a not bad effort at all for the mere sum of £15. Roll up roll up, commissions welcome. To you??? ummm £80 I think. Obviously my expert many years in the making artistic skills have to be paid for too. It'll have to be blue though, I've only got blue paint left.
Anyway on my MASTERpiece I've got blacks, reds,
oranges and yellows, all very bright and big and I
have just hung it. (That's the professional way of
saying you've put a pic up on a wall). For god's sake
though
dont sit under it its heavy and the nail is, ummm, a
tad
wobbly. (Bit like me really 
). Might get the drill
out tomorrow and put it up properly but I was very
keen to see my MASTERpiece hung and displayed in all
its glory. What
is it?? Ummmmm whatever you want it to be, personally
I see sun & heat, baking hot burning beating down on
you sun. But if you want it to be something else then
I'll let you.
My marvellous wonderful lifesaving evil twin is down next weekend and she knows she HAS to say JUST nice things ONLY. Is that clear? Else I'll cry. Well to be fair I'll cry anyway its been ages since I've seen her and I NEED to see her. Oh she's bringing J too..... what is he letting himself in for??
And for those young-uns in the audience that's Rolf as in Rolf Harris he doesn't just sob over furry creatures you know. Well anyway the more mature among us will understand the reference and if you're so young you dont then you can bollocks anyway.
So who said they wanted a blue painting?????
