used to be able to get them from sky high shoes on ebay ... although not sure these days - although they had very thin heels ?
maybe worth a check I'd rather bleed with cuts of love then live without any scars...

They don't sell that style anymore and they weren't the en pointe style either unfortunately Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Mmm, the range available off the shelf is depressingly small, though no surprise with such a specialist form of footwear; my favourite ballet heel maker closed down a few years ago (Hot Peppers / Qualifetish).
Without this descending into an ad, I know of a woman in Germany who runs her own site;http://www.light-fetish.de/index/index.htm
She is also a member of www.hhplace.org a forum for lovers of high heels and goes by the name of Pata, where she posts a series of pictures that you would normally need to subscribe for. She has a series of one off and modified ballet heels but she won't let on to whom makes them; do check them out In summary you will need to either find a talented cobbler who is willing to make / modify ballet heels or modify them yourself; hhplace also has threads on the modification of heels / ballet heels, which if you can afford it and have the patience, you could sort yourself..... Take your boots to any decent cobbler, they'll put metal heels on for you, I have my shoes done regularly so know this to be possible "Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls. The most massive characters are seared with scars" |
