BBQ at Putney Munch 6th August (96)

I'll try brining something interesting but most likely family will be at home and questions might be asked if I'm cooking something but I will think about it.

My borage is buggered, my lettuce is limp, but my mizuna is gorgeous. Hope someone, no names no pack drill, is marinading the halloumi.

One more thing.
If it's pissing down, the munch will be on, but there probably won't be a BBQ!

Hoping it will not rain, as I have just got back from shopping and think I have over done it! Even if we don't get to light the BBQs there will be more salads, bread rolls, and sauces than you could shake a stick at. And as my cat is a confirmed carnivore I cannot take all the uneaten stuff home again

Hmm, I may swing on by; I should even get to stay longer than the 30 mins I was there last time Thanks to my work-from-home meal/peckishness schedule I probably won't be eating, though.

Ok, I am going to bake cakes!
I haven't decided which one though... Chocolate truffle cake? Financier(French cake)? Castella(Japanese cake)? Creamcheese and ram raisn cake?
Aw, I should have made it yesterday(cake usually tastes better 1 or 2 days later) but I went to Club Blackwhip and had a naughty fun instead!
My cakes are not very sweet compare to British ones but hope you guys like it!

Thinking of coming out, not been to the Putney munch before...any other NW Londoner doing the rather long journey???
bringing a friend and pork steaks, maybe some couscous salad, not confirmed yet
