Bring something to throw on the BBQ or share around. Given we've a limited budget, the aim is we'll cover the Baps, sauces etc and probably a few packets of Burgers/Sausages. If each person brought something nice that would feed a couple of people we'd have plenty of food to go around. In my family we have a tradition of family gatherings (I've 100+ on my mums side - each group brings something, eg a pasta, some chicken, a salad, cold meats etc, and the result is a huge feast with very little individual effort). It would be great if we created something similar. So bring something interesting or something you've made - it'll be more fun than everyone bringing the same 4 pack of burgers. Mike. I'll try brining something interesting but most likely family will be at home and questions might be asked if I'm cooking something but I will think about it. |
