I can't quite wrap my head 'round paying a really, in my view, ridiculous amount of money. Money which I cannot afford to have a half an hour session with a Mistress. I've noticed they all tend to hover around the £100-£200 mark for an hour. Some go even higher than that. I can only think of two types of people who should pay this amount of money and they are newcomers and filthy rich men. Are there any subs who don't like the idea of paying above £100 not only because they can't afford to but also feel as though it ain't quite right for some reason or another. | |||

And what on earth makes you so special that you shouldn't have to pay the same as everyone else who chooses to see a pro? As Bubbles said no one is making you pay that or see a pro in the first place. The pros I know are talented ladies and offer a very good service.

Lots of people pay for pro-domme's for all kinds of reasons, mainly because they have an edge and you get what you want. I think it's worth it. You are paying for an image, attitude and experience. Also your money pays for the hire or buying of expensive equipment and outfits. When you consider the initial costs and that people do pay 150 - 300 pounds just for a shag, its good value for money. I had the honour of spending time with some pro-dommes recently and I would certainly pay for a session with one. | |||

I must apologise as I find your post slightly confusing. Whenever we pay for a professional service we pay for many things - time,their talent, the time they spent training, their equipment - and often it is a case of supply and demand or even status - for example I often find solicitors or dentists prices crazy - but that is the going rate. However as with all services we have the choice as to whether or not we pay it, we have the right to look elsewhere to shop around to ask for reccomendations. If it is a case of affordability there are possibly many solutions, but it is the line I quote above that then confuses me - that one may not feel it to be right - then it is not really about paying for the service? If it dsoesn't feel right that would suggest to me not the right mindset for visiting a professional as you would not be able to fully get into it if that is your feeling. Many years ago my first ever experience in the world of kink was with a professionial, I was young and naive and probably not really sure of who I was. I probably paid too much - in terms of what I could afford, what the going rate was, and her skills /experience. But I learnt from that and ultimately that in itself made the experience worthwhile. My advice is shop around, find someone who you think wioll work for you because then, trust me, whatever you pay will seem like almost nothing | |||
