I am free.
It finally sank in yesterday - not because of the bunfight that went on last night, but before that. Following exchanges of memos between myself and both Thunder and leashed cougar, I realised, 6 weeks on, that I am really free.
I didn't choose to be of course, and I am still terribly sad. I am recovering though.
I will use my freedom wisely, until I am ready to give it up again.
Lines have been drawn, and I am moving on.
