I have just spent a really enjoyable evening creating a really special playlist on my iPod, weaving an atmosphere, building peaks and troughs, running tracks together carefully to enable smooth shifts of pace, genre, mood - I'm really getting into it and the results of some of the mixes are really fabulous, so much so, in fact, that iPod and speakers are always in my bag when we stay in hotels cos it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing! (Metaphocially, obviously, a scene to swing music is just weird). So, I got to wondering what piece of unrelated technology or equipment has enhanced your 'scenes' and become almost intergral? What bit of non-kink kit couldn't you kink without? Every second of every hour of every day
