…but I may be when he gets around to playing with the new toys that I bought him for our anniversary. Stupid kitten 
I was actually afraid to come home from work tonight The weekend is looking long and scary and I have tummy ache just thinking about it. When did I become so conditioned that I would do something so dumb just for the joy of making him happy?
So yesterday marked 4 years since I chose the number 4 in his little (fixed - the cheating bastard) game that turned our “let's meet for a coffee” into 3 days of being chained by the neck to his bed post. See. He has always has been romantic.
We did do our bit for romance. He sent me flowers, which now transpires is part of his evil PR plan to appear nice to my colleagues 
I put them right though when they went all “oooooh ahhhh” about it all. And I turned up home with a bottle of bubbly and M&S's best picernic selection. Off we toddled to the nearest green bit and we set up camp on a blanket under a giant chestnut tree and nibbled on mezze complemented wonderfully by the still warm ciabatta and feta pastries and chilled sparkles (now he mocks my preparations until he reaps the benefits and then grumbles begrudgingly that yes, I am a good kitten after all). What a peaceful and lovely evening it was. Even better when the squawking of the swarms of parakeets drown out my squeaks and yelps as he stood on one paw and used his other booted foot to give me a lovely anniversary kicking.
Dead romantic we are

You're a mushy pair... and a lovely pair. Congratulations on the last four years, and I have no doubt at all you'll have gazillions more to come. It's a perfect match - he with shit jokes, you with shit ornaments. 
As for being scared, well, it serves you right. I'm planning on buying you both soft fur mittens with which to stroke me. Would you like some milk from the paw of life? |
