I had to post this after seeing a new client a couple of days ago.
He said that he had very little experience, but had 'done' spanking, some flogging, forced femme and humiliation play with another pro domme. He said he had never ever been caned or had a schooling whip used on him. He didnt mind marks so long as they did not last more than a few days. Once we had got well into the session I told him we would now try the cane and whip and that I would be giving him five strokes, each one a little harder than the previous one to get an idea of his pain level and that he needed to give me his estimate from a count of 0 to 10 of how it hurt him. I started with a thin whippy cane and I expected that he would be saying 10 after say the second or third stroke as I wasn't being gentle, but imagine my surprise when I had administered six strokes without any visible reaction from him and heard him giving a very hard stroke indeed an estimation of 6/7! By then I was beginning to doubt his veracity and again questioned him as to his level of experience, but he insisted that he had definately never had anything harder than spanking or flogging. Well, by then I had got the bit between my teeth as it were and was getting extremely turned on by the caning, besides regarding his estimates as a bit of a challenge. I took a good look at him and asked some pertinant questions before deciding that he was definately not so spaced that he had lost the capability to make a rational decision. I then asked him if he would like to continue right up to his begging me to stop and he was very keen to try, even though I warned him that harder strokes would leave weals and bruises that might take a while to disappear. We ran the gamut of canes (and I have a few!) from thin and whippy to my thickest dragon cane and I tell you I was hitting him VERY VERY hard and getting very little reaction. I was totally amazed and I know he wasn't just 'showing off' by refusing to show feedback because he had been a wonderfully responsive play partner and not adverse to letting me know in some way if he was upset about something. I ended up using my thickest dragon cane before calling a halt to the experiment because if I had continued, his backside would have ended up a real mess and we had agreed that neither of us wanted that. As it was, he went away with deep weals and bruising already beginning to come out. He mailed me the next day to say he had 'wonderful blue stripes' and that he was a happy bunny. How the blummin ummers can someone with no real pain experience take that level of punishment and still not shout 'WOAAAHHHHHHH!' ? Anyone else come across this sort of thing? Perfect beauty. We all have different pain tolerances. I know people you can hit your damnest and they will laugh! Personally, i'm a wuss, but there are times i can take a severe thrashing and times when the slightest tap will have me howling! I have come across this on a few occasions, as follows: One guy was lying and manipulating and was actually very experienced, although he never admitted it to me - I found out afterwards when I came across him and his Mistress at a club. Cheeky sod had told me he never went to clubs, so that was another lie! Another guy screamed blue murder when I spanked him and hated the slippers, couldn't take stingy canes but took all I gave him with a thicker, heavier cane. He loved it and said it was a different sensation which appealed to him. Yet another guy I sessioned with (and this was the most worrying one) had no body language for me to gauge and, like your chap, took everything I gave him. I finished the session when I decided I had gone as far as I was happy to with a new client. When he was doing up his trousers, I noticed he had problems with the button, so I watched him carefully with his coffee, etc. Turns out he had had a stroke and the medications he was on meant that he didn't feel what I was doing to him - although he certainly knew about the marks the next day! Needless to say, I told him off for not having told me prior to playing about his stroke.

This is true. It depends a lot on how desperate you are to get to where a good caning will take you. I once watched a guy being caned. The Mistress was really laying into him and he was showing no reaction, no reflex action at all. That too could be a bit dangerous as it is difficult to judge how far to go. Dulled reflexes are not a good thing when being caned. Susan Williams | |

I had a novice first timer in his 50s about two months ago, he told me he had no previous experience other than a light spanking. Marks were no problem and he wanted to 'know about' it later, no health problems or meds etc. I started gently built up ..and up ..and up very little feedback so I used the out of 10 forced feedback and was given a 3 !! naturally I then started to really have some fun! he did go home very happy but his pain threshold was certainly a lot higher than I was expecting. I have a client with parkinsons whos meds mean he doesnt feel the pain as intensely AND when he does it takes him a while to be able to show it! that is interesting to say the least but still great fun as he is a real character | |

Hmmmmmm, Two of you have opened my eyes to the fact that medication and/or a medical condition can make a client feel very little pain. I have to admit that I had not known that and have been 'playing' for over seven years! Just shows that we never stop learning. I myself have and have had several clients who have had strokes in the past and I have cut my cloth accordingly and made quite sure that the sessions are well within what they can take, but I honestly did not know about the medication thingy.
