Ok so I got my results and as I was expecting I didn't pass. Which I knew I wouldn't as all the extra stress of the trial and what not. So I put in for mitigating circumstances as I thought it was best to do that.
Anyhow having found out that I failed really pissed me off, all though I knew I was probably going to it still got to me, just how much this stupid man has affected my life through just doing one thing.
Anyhow i got told to talk to my personal tutor to see if I could find out what I had failed and how bad it may actually be. So I decided to email him, and he said email the head of the year. So I did, and sent a rather please please please can I see my transcript so I know how badly I did. Being a nice bloke that he is, he sent it to me.
Looking through it, I failed one non important module, not one of the core one's but one of the ones they stick in during the first year to make up the marks. So now I know what my re-sit is for August I feel a lot more relaxed. I passed all the Core units even picking up a first in one of them, which is rather nice.
So now I feel a bit less stressed by that anyhow, Monday is still scaring the crap out of me but hey ho that will happen regardless.

Oh, Congrats on only failing one module. In my eyes thats a huge achievement...at least you can re-do it After the light of day, darkness comes and kneels to obey!! |

In my first year, i failed satistics (mainly because after the first sats lesson where some kind of code jupiter was presented on the board), didn't turn up again! However, i got to do a re-sit and spend all summer learning basic maths, to a-level to satistics and passed with flying colours. It was one of the best personal achievements thus far I can now do formula for satistics (without needing a computer) in fact as i learned more that way, i prefer it!
Furthermore, my friend who was a maths teacher was no use, she didn't get it at all! Now i know that if i work hard to achieve something, i get there. It may at times take me longer than some. However considering that the majority of people don't do much self progression at all, i'm not doing half bad Edited 26 Jun 09, 4:01 PM by fussyone |
