Rude clients (64)
This post is on the Pro-Mistresses etc web board.

I had a phone enquiry: humiliation, w/s and toilet training. He was an Irishman, and I've had very little trouble from the Irish: always polite, gentlemanly, clean, well presented and deeply, deeply into their kink.
So I took the trouble to explain to this one that toilet training isn't my thing, and started to suggest how to find someone more suited to him. I realised I was talking to the dial tone...
So rude, how little trouble does it take to listen for a few moments to the words of advice being freely given and then say good-bye, maybe even thank you?
I'm glad you're not all like that

I'm sorry you had this experience.
The normal thing for male subs is unanswered enquirerys, because we out number Dommes so heavily.
I've heard of far ruder and the most annoying is subs that don't turn up, or want a fuck and are not sub at all. |

Rude is when a client discusses a scenario with you and you agree on a price and then they announce that they have also discussed it with a couple of other Mistresses and that they need to make a decision. The implication is that they want us Mistresses to undercut each other!

I am pritty shure that I have spoken to that "gentleman",
I am afraid I get that most days I am in the middle of answering their enquiry and the phone goes dead its just so rude. Others cut off as soon as I answer it, Do other Misrress's get this? (Real Ladies) I put it down to the fact that they have not read my add. correctly, it clearly states that I an a TV. and my voice is not feminin so as soon as I speak they realise I am not a GG or is it a case of lost nerve? or is it just a wind up? Katie.

There is no excuse for rudeness in any walk of life manners cost nothing after all.

Published prices help, it cut my number of time wasters considerably.
I think the current climate is biting hard, though, the number of time wasters is up considerably, and the serious enquiries going down. The regulars are stretching the repeat interval, but strangely, session length is increasing. Maybe it reflects the divisive nature of the this recession: those who keep their jobs and have a variable mortgage rate are sitting pretty and enjoying the negative inflation. The brunt is borne by those with fixed rate mortgages or redundancy, or, heaven forbid, both.

I dont consider a dead dial tone as rude to be honest, I have heard much worse lol.
You should see the texts I receive, true filth *giggles* " The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it. Resist it

Unfortunately manner seem to be optional these days. I mean I got on the tube with a pregnant lady and no one gave up there seat straight away I glared at one bloke and in the end he gave up his seat but how rude. Manners cost nothing but mean quite a lot, it shows you've been brought up not dragged up.

I have to disagree. I and others I have spoken to have all found an increase in appointments. I've always believed that, when times are not quite so comfortable, people will make even more effort to treat themselves.
As for rude calls, I don't consider putting the phone down to be particularly rude; it just shows they are not the sort of people I would want to session with and their numbers are stored accordingly. Most of those who do it tend to be looking for escorts or are members of the wank and spank brigade.
I would also say that, IMO, the people most suffering are those who have lived on HP and their credit cards more than what sort of mortgage they have.
Some people are like slinkies ... they don't really have a purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs
Some people say I'm a bitch, that's just not true - I have the heart and soul of a kind and gentle person ... in a jar, on my desk, next to my cane.

Im pleased to agree that I havent noticed a downturn either, some of my regulars had spaced their visits initially as they were nervous a few months back but now all seems to be back to normal. If anything as was said previously I have noticed a distinct upturn in first timers wanting to session, as a stress relief due to the economic climate.
I use email for most of my arrangements so have never had a rude phone call ..yet |

I am the sort of person to hold doors open, stand aside in corridors and give my seat up; however my experience is you either get ignored as the female rushes past, sits down, you get looked at in a manner that says " I can open my own doors " or completely ignored as if you do not exist. I have noticed that this applies to all ages. OAPs are often worse than younger people. It is a sign of the times regretably.
The days of " Manners maketh the man " have gone with chiverly and knights on white steeds.
