It's not clear that plumbers are professionals rather than tradesmen. One way to tell would be whether they feel professionally bound to explain how things could be done cheaper than the work you're asking them to do (ie something you'd want to know but haven't actually asked about.)

It's clear from threads like this that a significant number of men would want to know about the issue the OP raised.

Regards,

Tanos

If a qualified plumber started to tell me that my shelves were wonky I wouldn't consider him to be anymore professional.

I agree that many men would want to know (hell, I'd want to know if anyone I was consider having a personal relationship with had gender reassignment too), but I don't agree that it is the PDs job to predict whether or not the client wants to know - he should ask if it's not obvious but is important to him.

But clients don't ask. Most are gentleman enough that they don't want to offend anyone. They also don't want their doubts confirmed. They ask other PDs instead which puts us in the awkward position of disclosure. I've confirmed one or two because I'm not prepared to lie.

Most clients want to know.

I am fairly sure that a client wouldn't be confused, conflicted, or upset to realise that the the breasts hovering near his face are enhanced. He might be a tad disappointed, or even more thrilled, but it isn't going to make him question himself or distrust other Mistresses' breasts.

...unless natural breast are important to him, in which case he might feel very much like that.

You think!? Really?

Whilst I'm not a PD, I have had quite a few lovers tell me how much they prefer my natural breasts and how disillusioned they feel when they've found previous partners breasts to be manufactured. So yes, those feelings *are* out there, it's just a matter of scale. I've also been told by one of my friends who has implants that guys have told her how much they prefer them to natural breasts - the point being that *IF* there's a moral obligation (as per the OP) to reveal stuff, why not *all* stuff?

Yeah but you're talking about a relationship where I assume you touch each other a lot. Not many PDs allow clients to massage, suck, lick, fondle etc etc their breasts, and if they do they usually make a point of saying what bra size they are and if they are natural or not. You get extra points if your large breasts are natural.

You really can't compare gender-realignment surgery to fake boobs, or fake nails or hair extensions...or what...laser eye correction...false eyelashes...where would you suggest it ends?

How does personA know what personB wants to know? If my waterpipe bursts, I don't need to know that my qualified plumber used to be a carpenter.

watersports with a saw :) ;) interesting concept

I'd be quite interested to know whether they'd just taken up plumbing or had years of experience.

And we're talking of activities more personal, complex and intimaite than mending waterpipes.

I'd be more interested in if they were qualified; the amount of experience they've had in fixing a leaky pipe is irrelevant to me and if everyone insisted on years of experience the plumbing trade would die out.

Tanos said *any* professional, and my response was to him.

I'd suggest that it doesn't end, because it shouldn't start. Foisting personal morals onto another person seldom works.

All relevant stuff I think. And what is relevant is a highly subjective judgement. But I think this thread has shown that for pro-Domme sessions (and especially repeated sessions - thanks lisal) it is relevant to a significant proportion of clients.

I think if some kind of breast worship or suckling fantasy was clearly part of the deal, and the professional's breasts were depicted in promotional material, then I think a client might be justified in feeling upset if they weren't as depicted. To what extent in today's cultural milieu one might consider implants as normal and therefore not needing disclosure but a reasonable question is again a fine judgement to make.

It isn't just a simplistic issue about morals. I think there is the very serious issue of misrepresentation, dishonesty and deceit...in an industry that relies on everybody being honest and trustworthy.
