Tsk Tsk Tsk.

Maybe you want to get yourself to a less tame site then.

The arguments are all over recent threads, and they are genuine, from genuine people. Deal with it.

Maybe this isn't aimed at me seeing as I have no desire what so ever to chat with a child. And I'm not talking about the OP's chronological age.

But.....I don't have a face picture on site only body shots, I don't have a high profile job but I do hold a professional position that requires a professional conduct socially, being known locally to be on IC or involved in BDSM would bring my reputation into disrepute and right or wrong I'm not willing to take that risk.

After that, I don't call people ugly, but ms scarlett69 you are far from stunning and really shouldn't be throwing such insults around to people you haven't seen.

Seems pretty simple, to me.

You either keep an open mind about other people's situation and decisions, or you don't and jump to baseless conclusions.

And I must admit, whilst I am sure some people are happy to have face pics up now, I wonder how they will feel in 2,3, 5 or 10 years. I hope none come to regret it.

Well good for you to be able to post pics, but I am in a sensitive job. No I'm not royalty, but there is the thing about bringing your profession into disrepute. I signed a contract and do not, for the sake of pleasing scrotes on the net who think you are not worthy as you do not have a pic, want to lose my job.

You may not like it, but the fact remains that there are unscrupulous journalists who will ruin people for their sad little story. I for one, do not want to be splashed in the papers because they wanted their little bit of sleeze for the week.

Grow up and realise that not everything is black and white.

Troll? I absolutely agree with the OP.

As far as I'm concerned it's weird not to want to put a picture up in these days of social networking. It's still weirder to be so pre-emptively paranoid about it when this is such a tame site.

Even weirder are those people who 'don't have a picture online' - no Facebook no MySpace, not even a pic in a Photobucket account somewhere - and yet they're technically minded enough to find this place and set up a profile on it. All of this stuff sets alarm bells ringing for me.

Maybe you guys are OK talking to a blank wall, but I'm not.

Good grief... not this tired old posturing again. What part of having a job whereby being outed at work would quite likely lose you your job do you and the OP not understand?

Sheesh!

You may well work somewhere (if indeed you do work) where this would not be a problem. Good for you, I am pleased for you! Now please use some intelligence around the notion that others are in a different position.

No I just feel some people contact me with no information on the profile at all, apart from the basic age etc. Just to see they have made an effort.

I feel I should delete all my information and pictures just to fit in. Then memo lots of different people and not give up anything.... will they talk to me I wonder?

Any picture is fine as long I can see you have made an effort.

Yes grammer isn't great as I was rushed in writing my last post.

Sorry for the poor spelling!

Better to be talking to a blank wall than talking to the underside of a bridge...

My dad would kill me if he saw my pic on here and knew what I did but then again if he was on here doesn't that say something for him!!

Have some guts!

For some people the consequence of having their profile on here found would be a little more dramatic than being told off by their father. For some it could mean that they would lose their jobs, thus income, thus house and possibly family......... oh how i wish the worst thing that could happen to me was to be told off by my dad.... Sounds like yours have swallowed your brain.

You don't seem to have a clue about life.

You don't seem to realise people can post you one that isn't of themselves anyway. Better to not know what they look like than think you know what they look like.

You don't seem to understand what real ugliness is and that you don't need a pic up to show it.

And a tip for you:

One of the first things that people look for in a dom is intelligence and common sense. Good luck.

That would be very childish.

Plenty of people can't be arsed to fill out their profile, but it doesn't mean you can slag off people who DO fill out their profile but don't put up a pic because they value their livelihood.
