Is there anyone here who can advise me on the art of starting fishing. It would be nice if someone who lives in the east anglia region could show me...
Thanks,
Robyn

Get a permit before doing anything else, and learning to get the fish off the hook relatively painlessly is an art.
Don't throw it back if it's seriously damaged.
Are you wanting to fish for food or to throw back?
Are you going freshwater fishing in still or moving water, or seafishing? They require different tackle.
You will need some gear, the right bait for the sort of fish you are trying to catch, the right lead (weight) etc. Get a fellow fisher(wo)man to show you, although what works for them may not work for you. A good shop should be able to help but don't let them sell you shit you don't need “During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act” - George Orwell |
