How bleeding hard can it be to get broadband changed from one provider to another?
Sky have told us that they won't provide broadband to us anymore because of out rural location and the line is so dodgy that to upgrade the line will cost £30k and BT won't obviously pay that out just for a couple of houses to get broadband.
Eventually got the mac code from SKY, called virgin - who are cheaper. Stuff should have arrived by now, but just had a call from them to say that because the post code they have is different from the one at BT they couldn't process the order.
So rung BT, after repeating myself numerous times, almost shouting down the crappy phone line they provide us with, the female on the other end informed me that this will take 24/48 hours to update.
Ok, job done, was there anything else she could help me with - nope, so i hung up as i was disgusted on how long she told me it would take to update.
Rang virgin tried to explain to some foreign bloke about the post code, even did it phonetic alphabet to the numpty twat, he repeated it back to me incorrectly - fuckwit! So after repeating it again, he still didn't hear me correctly so i told him i couldn't be arsed and put the phone down hard on the desk.
What the fuck does it take to get people to listen in these bleeding call centres, i used to work in one and listened to what people told me, even writing notes as they speak so that i could repeat back what they told me.
It really gets my back up, fortunately the only good thing is that i haven't had to pay for the calls - that would really be the straw that breaks the camels back.
And before you ask - i'm hormonal ok!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh and as a byline - we're hoping to go to the BBB on sunday with some friends, i should have calmed down by then, if not i'm sure i'll be muzzled.
