Another example is holocaust denial, which is illegal in Germany, but not in the UK. I'm not aware that the german authorities intend to charge David Irvine the next time he pops over.

I have no idea what this thread was originally about, but Irving would probably avoid Germany since he was only released from an Austrian prison two and a half years ago for that very thing.

So it is possible for foreign authorities to charge people with something that is not an offence in their own country.

In order that *my* reply has some earthly point to it, I will say that AFAIK other than for breaches of international law, and in the absence of specific judicial agreements between nations, breaking the law of one country whilst in another where the activity is legal will not result in being prosecuted at home.

One comes to mind: Female genital Mutilation.

I can't think of any others at the mo, but may get back to you! lol

I think lil_pup was asking what the OP said, rather than asking for your opinion on the replies.

It was about beastility experiences, but the OP's since removed it.

Ah, OK. I did preface with AFAIK.... and didn't say it was impossible. I'm surprised that denial isn't a crime in Austria actually...

This may be a great shortcut for HMG actually. No need to outlaw gays and extra marital sex - just prosecute under the Saudi Arabian laws that forbid them. And the punishment can be corporal too! Result! No need to worry about that soon to be lost majority either - no legislation needed.

Given the OP deletion ( and mine for that matter) uhh......... bleh? I'll waste no more time here....

Oh.

According to the Source Of Fucking Everything (wikipedia), it's legal in Sweden and Denmark so theoretically someone could have done it legally, although obviously not consensually.

Just don't do it in Sudan - you'll never see eye-to-eye with your in-laws.
