My homie Mark Kermode — who sends me stuff — has sent me three tickets to the Simon Mayo show on Friday June 19th at CineWorld in Edinburgh. This is a live transmission of the Radio Five Simon Mayo Show. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but part of the show is the film review segment with Mark Kermode, which is always worth listening to. There is the added attraction of a superstar guest. I haven't a clue who it is either, but they will be there for the premier of something showing at the Edinburgh Film Festival, so a bit of research through the film festival program may give hints as to who it is.
The upshot is they have sent me three tickets, I only need one, which means there is a ticket for two of you out there in IC land. The only restrictions are you have to get to CineWorld in Fountain Park in Edinburgh for 12:00 on Friday the 19th and if you don't know me have enough get up and go to find me and ask for the ticket.
You don't have to know me or like me to get a ticket, just want to see the show. Contact me through here to get a ticket, I will probably use a combination of first come first served and arbitrary whim — bribery and corruption, though despicable, may help your case — to decide who gets them. If you get a ticket you had better turn up or I will be really miffed.
