Not so sure about him being a Dom. I remember watching in my teens many episodes of Kung Fu where he voluntarily underwent various ordeals for the sake of helping others. There was a lot of bondage, too. I found it deliciously compulsive viewing, though I didn't understand why at the time. Playing dangerously on your own, for whatever reason, and ending up dead - then your reputation probably getting tarnished and family doubly traumatized because of the "shame" of bdsm, as well -it's tragic. Until I realised that there was such a phenomenon as death by auto-erotic asphyxiation, I was no stranger to wardrobes myself. I wonder how many lives might be saved if society wasn't so loathe to discuss the risks of this business, openly and non-judgementally.

Ah but you must admit in deathrace 2000 and Kill Bill he had a wonderfully dangerous aura whilst softly spoken. I quoted a figure I have seen previously in a thread recently, Estimated 3000+ deaths a YEAR in the USA from breath play, if true, staggering. I must try and verify it, but I remember at the time I read it ( a few years back), it came from a reputable source. It is very sad that suicide is seen as less "disgraceful" than BDSM. Was the same with Michael hutchens if i remember correctly the family seemed to prefer the idea he committed suicide rather than breath play gone wrong.

The hunt's probably now on to find a safer way for people to choke themselves silly whilst pulling the pud. Obviously the rope (Carradine), the belt (Hutchens) and the satsuma (Milligan) are all a bit iffy. As necessity is the mother of invention, I'm gonna get to work on both a time-release cable-tie AND a disolvable fruit and then see if Theo's, "In for that".
