Misunderstanding pro dommes , can only , say it is the people who are ignorant , or want to do it but do not have the bottle , if I may describe it using that word.

so any dommes that are abused by mail or phone , or even worse in person, or misunderstood , the people if you can call them that are cowards and unworthy of your time.

This is dreadful. Please don't think that anyone has the right to get away with being abusive.

I have set my email options so that I have full headers showing on every single email I receive. If I receive any abuse from anybody then that email gets copied (inc. headers) and it gets sent straight to that person's service provider. Part of the terms of using an internet service is that you don't use it to abuse other people. If you abuse anyone then there is a good chance that that service will be terminated. I have seen several people disappear from the net because I have reported them for abuse. I often wonder how they explain the loss of the internet to wifey, or mummy or daddy.

Sometimes it is interesting to consider these issues in context. We live in an unequal world. For example the average Brit lives more than twice as long as the average Zimbabwean (although unfortunately Robert Mugabe is hanging on in there - probably because he isn't being starved, poisoned with unclean water, deprived of adequate medical care, and beaten up by his own thugs). For probably about 20% of the world gathering enough food to keep you and your family alive for another day is your sole concern.

Even in this country there are massive inequalities in material wealth. For most possessions the hierarchies are clear - most people recognise that their means don't stretch to mansions, Ferraris, yachts, and the other accoutrements of designer life.

But ah... women. Such a difficult case. Those that already are blessed with wealth and attraction - rock stars for example - women throw themselves at. But they are a rare and lucky breed. For others restrictions apply. And so through all women - yours totally without demand, yours subject to certain conditions, your temporarily at a price, yours never at any price.

Prostitutes (go with me on this - Pro Dommes are similar in this respect) are the ultimate tease. Yours - but at a price. Suddenly youth, beauty, intelligence can be all yours - but only for an hour, only whilst your coin remains good. Yet somebody out there is probably getting everything you are and more for free. Pro Dommes in a way are "worse" - even at £140 an hour they still won't f*ck you.

To the inadequate and desperate they are the ultimate "f*ck you". There will be few clients who haven't thought briefly, bitterly, "why am I not good enough that she'll do me for free". Because "free" is out there in women and sex in a way that it isn't for cars and yachts. But only "free" to the right people.

In my view prostitution and Pro Domming are honest trades. They are luxuries - you can live without them. Most prostitute liasions are probably more honestly fulfilled on both sides than most marriages. You also pay your money and take your choice.

So Pro Dommes do provide a service - a small taste of heaven that most of their clients are highly unlikely to sample any other way. But don't expect them all to love you for it - you are the reminder that what they want they can't get for free.

Take comfort in this - you'll probably spend your lives giving more happiness and being more honest and caring than many more "respected" professions.

Well, that's certainly one way of looking at it.

But for some people the heaven that's tasted in visiting a Pro-Domme may be exactly what they're after - not a tiny slice of something bigger or better, but the thing itself. And this could be exactly because it's a window that only opens for an hour, because it's simple, upfront and uncomplicated in a way that many other relationships aren't. Perhaps these "restrictions" work in a similar way to heavy bondage, breath-play, stress-positions: they paradoxically set people free.

The other stuff that you (superficially) get for free may, for the same reason, sometimes lack value...

I personally think that for a significant number of people who visit Pro Dom/mes it is not a luxury but rather a necessity because, for some people, it is the only option/opportunity there is for them to express their true self.

If fetish and/or BDSM makes up most or an integral part of someones' sexuality then to actualise that is necessary in order for that person to be happy. Otherwise he/she will surely be miserable. There is also a very real possibility that the kink that the person has/desires may become an obsession.
