Great kit, happy busy boys, lovely foot, a very welcome massage, good friends, good music, lovely body art, met lots of new people who I know online but never met in person. Far too busy to get any serious play in and I STILL haven't managed to make time for the trantric massage! Next time though I'll be in there first! Thank you very much to all the House Slaves. You did a great job and showed stamina, charm, innovation and determination. Thank you to all the House Mistresses - the support you give one another and myself is invaluable and besides, you're definitely the reason I go to Pedestal for my bi-monthly eye candy allowance! I was going to volunteer to open a thread myself but here is one ready made for me to enthuse in! One thing that strikes me about Pedestal is how *all* the ladies there, tall, short, young, older, fat, thin, with disabilities or whatever - look beautiful. Some guys really make an effort, some appear not to... and lets not forget that its really difficult to find fetwear for the guys.... Oh its deffo worth a visit, even if its just to make your own mind up.... I really enjoyed this one as it happens... the negatives which have been mentioned happen at every club I have ever attended... well not so much the S&M stylie clubs but they tend not to be so commercial and avoid this by being members only. ~* Raku wa ku no tané; ku wa raku no tané. *~ | ||

Well I thoroughly enjoyed my first Pedestal. There were certain instances of wanky men that raised an eyebrow, but the overall vibe of the club was overwhelmingly positive for me. There seemed to be so much positive play going on I could barely focus on one thing. Personally, I think everyone concerned in the organising did a great job and I'm looking forward to returning. | ||

It was the first time I'd been & I liked it. I was a little surprised at what some of the guys were wearing but the website does make it clear that black jeans & t-shirt are acceptable for first timers. I expect people either do better next time or don't come back (either you're into it or you're not). Anyone thinking it was the sort of event to find a quick shag or grope people would have got the message fairly quickly IMHO. The odd wankyman aside (Oh, HIM again!), the crowd seemed to know what they were there for & that gives the event its ambiance. I'm guessing the regulars will know this, which is why there were so many who had obviously been before. It did seem to take a while to really get going but the organisers can't control what time people arrive or how quickly they relax enough to play. I have no comparison for what it's usually like at Pedestal but the dynamic of who attends & what mood they're in will be different every time. It can't always be a better event than the previous one but even if they were, each individual will have their own (good or bad) experience & opinion on how it was. Although I do switch I'm mostly sub & there's a lot to be said for the atmosphere at a fem-dom event. Just being there helped my headspace. In the other thread someone mentioned eye contact. I find that either people engage with you or they don't (if they don't, it isn't a problem). There were certainly a number of attractive women in attendance (they were all Dommes, what could be more attractive LOL) who were enjoying throwing dirty looks at the snivelling subs & subs who were enjoying looking up adoringly at the beautiful Dommes (me included). I found the status/respect thing to be right up there for a club event but really, it's never going to be as twoo as it can be in private. If single guys are going to be encouraged to attend, there will always be a few who just don't get it & need educating or removing. I think it can take a while to understand how deep the rabbit hole goes. There are a lot of people who are unresolved with it all. I would rather not have gone alone but it was a last minute decision to go & anyone I might have gone with would have needed to be at work in the morning (after a long drive home) or take the day off. Next time arrangements can be made beforehand... Thanks to everyone who made it happen, see you all next time!

The whole summer off after Uni and before my job starts and I pick Pedestal week to go away. |
