Ok, so maybe that's not how the song goes, but seriously, people, my book obsession is a problem. I have more kink, gender, queer, and sex-related books than pretty much any library I know of... and somehow, I need to ship them all back to London so I can have my collection there. I have all sorts of crazy shit, from "S/m Classics" (bought when I was 17 and in the UK for the first time!) to "This is what a Lesbian Looks Like", from "Being Celibate and Sexual" to "Sexual Revolution 2.0". Whew.
Still vaguely getting over jet lag, and am already sunburned, which is both painful and yet fantastic because I've SEEN ENOUGH SUN to get crispy in the first place. I still bear some of my bruises, which is fun. Mostly the bite-related ones. They make me grin.
Went shopping for groceries- so weird for PG Tips to be in the International Food section with the Heinz baked beans! Really diggin' on all the fresh fruit and veg, though, and all the variety. Hard for that to get old.
I'm also working on making the basement of my grandma's house into a little studio flat for myself while I'm here. It's pretty roomy, actually, and I think I can make it pretty comfortable, which would be great. Have to get a bigger bed though... a twin sized just doesn't cut it when you're poly!
