Quote from plumber to replace shower unit with like for like: £230 for shower, £120 to fit. Found new unit on ebay for £100, £10 for odds and sods, Fitted myself in about an hour. Saving £240, but messing about with 30 Amp power line, and plumbing without electrocuting myself or drowning neighbours downstairs, priceless. I feel all manly now.
