It has taken an age for this to come around, but finally, tomorrow morning at some ungodly hour we will begin our long awaited, long anticipated German Goth mini break! Hurrah!
I am sure that many of the 20,000ish attending the renowned Wave Gothik Treffen in Leipzig would be mildly offended that I were calling it such, but hey, its my holiday, my sad excitement, my excuse to dress up and be disgracefully decadent, sing, dance, drink and generally be merry.
There will be very little Goth fun if he has anything to do with it, more time will be spent with Industrial and EBM and what little Neofolk there is this year. I am lamenting that fact actually. I adore Neofolk but see the issues that many have with some of the artists and their following, especially in Germany itself. It is a shame it ruins it for the rest really, but hey ho - nothing can stop my big silly cheesy kitten grin.
The fetish / BDSM night is on again at the beautiful Volkspalast (check out the pictures under "Bilder"). The play areas were fabulous last time; all alcoves and swishing curtains with voyeurs respectfully milling around and investigating the dark and seeimingly private corners.
Now... what shoes to take...

All of them! You can hire a private cargo jet very reasonably these days, I hear... Have a splendid time, both. Don't worry about your maid, sitting here sulking and pouting because its fun has been cancelled. No, really, don't give it a second thought. It'll be fine... probably.

No jet allowed apparently. The shoe selection is to be inspected shortly And actually, my smile is something like that of a crocodile, with a little twinkle thrown in.
So sorry about the thwarted plans. That is a bugger but fingers crossed for a convenient re-schedule. I am sure the pouting won't last *too* long

Actually, the postponement is mixing badly with what appears to be a rotten bout of PMT blues... but it's all temporary, and worse things happen at sea.
