I'm in trouble. In relation to my last blog about monster munch Rob at work bought some and we decided to crush one of the pieces down and do some lab testing on it. (Yeah real busy day at work today) So we crushed it down added some distilled water to it and did a Water pH test on it. Turns out the pH of pickled onion monster much was about 1.47 Thats pretty acidic. Thats not the problem though. I tried cleaning the pH meter and it just wont clean. Every time from that point on, all day the pH meter would read well below what it normally would (our normal range of pH testing ranges from about 4.07 to 7.50 and the pH meter was consistantly reading 2 or lower. Its not right and I think monster munch is to blame, so i've left the meter in some water for over the long weekend and hopefully it will have sorted itself out by tuesday. *crosses fingers and hopes* how am i gonna explain that to the boss, especially seen as both the pH meter and the pH beaker both really now absolutely reek of pickled onion. I cant just take it up to them and blame the battery dying when it stinks like that.
Thats what happens when you get curious. I do these things so you dont have to.
