It Is consensual. If you do it, your consent is inherent in that act. Wether it's informed consent or not is the point that, perhaps, you should have made.

Common sense should dictate that you are being asked to do this for a reason, that the results will be utilised in some way. Then you can make a decision based on that basic level of information wether or not to continue.

It would be nice to know more beforehand and, if that information isn't forthcoming and a body doesn't agree, they don't continue.

Personally I felt it was a tad general but without knowing the why's and such of why it's being done, I don't know if that is deliberate or not. I then come back to doing it, or not, based on what I Do know.

People love questionaires, it should get a good response either way.

I already made the point about the participant being informed earlier in the thread.

Common sense or not the British Psychological Society has a Code of Ethics for very good reason. It would be nice if everyone who does a psychological study knew that and adhered to it. Failure to adhere to such considerations usually means a fail in academic studies.
