Further to the post about Female Led Relationships - I wonder: How many male subs would willingly register their own interest in a possible FLR here? I'm intrigued... >;;;;--*

I suppose I would, but having said that it would be a big responsibility on the Female lead to make all the right decisions as regards finance etc. It wouldn't be fair on the Female lead to have to bare the burden of having made a wrong decision and it's consequences. So the male should have some input into the relationship even if the final decision rests with the Female lead. A man sub or other wise can't just sit back and use an F.L.R. as a cop out for his own responsibilites.

In answer to your question, I think I could live an FLR with an older woman, but not with a partner younger than me. Not sure why, perhaps ego (I don't think I have one) but I just wouldnt want a younger woman to lead the charge. That's my personal preference anyway

Again, I'm in agreement with Butterscotch - the big things would be discussed and, as with most things, communication is key!

Want to give this post a high-5!! Some like the TPE thing, including absolute financial control and all the rest, and fair play to them. That is far from the only form of FLR though, and I am guessing that those who do go that route would say it doesn't remove all responsibility from the (man)sub anyway? Just want to add, FLR can work for switchers too! Why poison your liver when I could eat it for you?

MissF, formerly known as LittleSwitch, was joking, teasing me! Anyway, that is all besides the point - this one is not about switchery as such, it be about FLRs. A most amazing form of partnership, I must say. Because that's the way I see it, anyway, definitely a partnership. Why poison your liver when I could eat it for you? Can't imagine many Dommes would want the responsibility of being in an FLR with a man who was actually inept, unable to cope with life and was using a form of lifestyle D/s to avoid taking decisions. I need to be in a relationship with a man who is actually highly functional (in all senses) and therefore actually gives something tangible up when he gives up control. Anyone should speak to p about how he is kept very busy, using brain and body in my service and know that an FLR is not for the weak, incapable or useless.
It is, of course, very suitable for switches. I wouldn't dare disagree about that! |
