Wonder if this will work........
There's been a rash of 'whinge threads' of late, not that they are anything new.
Usually male subs complaining that they never get replies to memos, and that there's not enough dominant women to go round, and how it makes them want to give up.......
Or dominant women complaining about the dire quality of memos they receive, and insults thrown at them when they politely say 'thanks, but no thanks', and how it makes them want to give up.......
Or sub women complaining about deceiptful misogynist numpty male doms, and how it makes them want to give up.......
Male doms pissed off their femsubs turned out to be another male dom making cuckoo calls. And a bunch of switches running about going 'wtf?'.
Then a load more male subs whinging about not finding a 'domme' (is that some kind of dolly, then?), and female dominants fed up with subs who know less than dick about service. If they even turn up....
And so on.....
So this is the antidote! Maybe. That's kinda up to you.
My experiences of IC have been of a generally friendly bunch, I had already met my lover through another site but I have met plenty sub and switchey playmates through here. Sound reliable sorts, great fun to be with and a pair of them I am hoping to keep. OK, one found me on fetlife, but she's on here as well.
As a dating site, it does work!
Besides that, I have made friends with dominants, subs, switches, men, women and all points in between and elsewhere. Got into new kinks, been to events I wouldn't have known about otherwise, and the occassional exasperations on the boards outnumbered 20 to 1 by the informative, thought provoking and funny ones.
Been touched by the kindness of strangers who have mailed from the blue to comment on pictures and posts. And valued the support given when I have been down in the dumps and in need of it. Not bad for a free website, I must say.
I know that lots of folks have found love, lust and friendship here.
So let's hear about that for a change!!

Okay, although my own subbie whinge incuded the upside of personally having been lucky with men so far, so was perfectly reasonable and balanced...
Since joining here I have been approached by really interesting and charming men, have made some friends that have moved into real life, and happily use the IC chatoom for company when I'm on me own, in fact I'm in there now  |

As for me, my experience here has been interesting. I've got lots going on in my life, and as such haven't been out to meet many people or move this into the 'real world' yet. I went to a munch though, had a lovely time and met lovely people, and will definitely be doing it again when I get my life back!
Mostly what IC is doing for me is helping me define what I want out of this kind of thing. Some topics of discussion make me squirm, in both good and bad ways, and provoke me to think about what I might like and what I might not like. Hopefully this means that one day maybe I can enter into something with better awareness and knowledge of the pros and cons, risks and potentials of the situation.
In the meantime I'm having great conversations with interesting people and learning all about this weird and wonderful world. Long may it continue

Very lucky to have met Daddy here and will always feel a sence of loyalty to this place because of this, no matter how much it makes me wanna leave sometimes I can't help but be greatful to this place, warts and all. Living proof that IC can work in bringing two very fussy, kinky, bizarre strangers together. Not to mention a few very good friends that i will forever cherish. And new ones i hope to meet very soon! I really have to disagree with you there.
IC is rubbish.
It took me the best part of a month to find an amazing lady on here who'll let me (indeed encourages me) to do to her all the sick and sordid things I've wanked, sorry, er, fantasised about for years.
NEARLY A FUCKING MONTH!
And she makes me think. And Laugh. And corrects my spelling and grammar in a way that only slightly makes me want to strangle her.
Add to that all the other people I've met on here, the people whose wit, charm, courage, beauty, sophistication and intelligence makes me feel inadequate and awed (the bastards) and I can't help but come to the conclusion that IC is a complete waste of time and nothing good comes from it.
Here comes a whizz-bang, and I think you know what I'm talking about, woof!

didnt meet partner or sub through here but when joined was already with them. I like IC - its not the website that drives me nuts - its some of the people.
I've made some good friends on here and would recommend.
There are some people I would still love to meet that I have happily stalked as friends for years as well.

I've made some fabulous friends on IC, met quite a lot of them and plan to meet a lot more.
I was invited to a party by someone on IC last year and there met my wonderful sub and partner, we're getting married in September.
Today I arrived home from work to find him cuffed and chained to the bed, ball gag in mouth and a long stemmed red rose clenched between the cheeks of his bottom (the other 11 were still in the bouqet on top of the wardrobe.
