The Independent says that 54% people are not planning on voting and 10% people are voting for minority parties (not Labour, Tory or Lib Dem). I'm just curious how the IC population votes (if at all).
Do you vote? If you do, do you follow a specific party (as compared to the individual promises a politician might make on specific issues)?

I always vote and believe it should be compulsory. In the past I've voted strategically and for individuals- Labour (old), LibDems, Scottish Socialist Party. I would never vote Tory. No colours or shapes

Most of the time. I'm left leaning but not fixed to any one party. It's critical that we don't give up on politics no how matter how shitty it's shown itself to be recently. Amongst all the scandal there were still a few principled MPs and we can hope that the rest will realise they need to change. Most importantly there are other failings of politicians that we mustn't forget such as rubbish illiberal and impractical policies.

I can't vote for your politicians. I am foreign. If I could it would have to be the modern equivalent of screaming Lord Sutch. RIP I came, I saw, I concurred

The Labour Party's greatest asset has always been the fact that they are the party that is most conspicuously *not the Conservative Party*. Hopefully enough people have realised by now that if there's one thing better that *not being the Conservative Party*, it's *not being the Labour Party*.
Something witty and profound...

Mr V and I were discussing just that the other night and I said that as much as I hate to say it David Cameron comes across very well and is making the Conservatives seem electable again. Labour are really fucking themselves up right now. No colours or shapes

Yes. I've most lived in Tory constituencies so have usually voted tactically, either the Liberal Democrats or Labour. However, I might have to vote Tory at the Europeans (forgive me, Grandfather) to oppose the national socialists - namely the BNP. Of course, I might opt for Green, if in the end, the idea of voting Conservative is just too awful to bear. f x
