But for my money, I agree. Cringeworthy, and lacking any sort of edge. Apparently, the whole thing was won by an MP from the UK.

Well she kept more clothes on during the last rehearsal before the night than on the night so I suspect this might be a myth.

The tv was on in the background whilst I was visiting family and someone exclaimed 'look at the size of her waist' when DvT came on. I looked and just commented that she must have been waist training and got a surprised look from the others. Ah well, it's just as well they know of my esoteric activities.

No Myth, I was told by a mutual acquaintance who knows her that she was asked to tone down her original idea for the actual performance.

Stands to reason that performers wear something less sensational for rehearsals than the outfit being saved for the TV show.
