Walmart in America apparently refused to stock copies of Scissor Sisters albums because the lyrics included profanities. They are however happy to stock guns on their shelves for sale. Bizarre world! PM. Intrigue my imagination to capture my attention. | ||

It's ironic that the surest way to offend me is to presume you know what I might be offended by. It's entirely ridiculous. It's no wonder people don't take responsibility for their actions any more. There's no need to because there's always someone else deciding what is and isn't appropriate for them.* *yes, I know how that sounds coming from a Dom! Edited so that it actually makes sense. In a world where every taste is catered for - legally or not - there'll always been ridiculous decisions like this, especially if its thought that the all-sacred profit would be upset. If there were two of you, which one would win? | ||

Or, looking at it another way, masses of free publicity for an album which most people would never know was being released anyway, in loads of media outlets they could never afford to get into. Science, the only religion that works even if you don't believe in it. |
