Looking at your results, there's definitely a problem somewhere. At the moment, 18% of the people who have responded are qualified to PhD level or above, yet no-one is less qualified than GCSE level. That's one hell of a skewed result, and frankly, I don't buy it.
Self-selection could have a lot to do with the absence of lower-end qualifications .After all, people with no qualifications are not going to bother taking a survey that declares itself to be about educational achievement. Maybe you should initially have been a bit more coy about the thrust of the survey?
As for your 'level 9' category, I think you're expecting too much of people, expecting them to know what 'level 9' really means. The term 'professional' is widely mis-used by people who are not professionals per se. For example, (not that I want to pick on a particular group, but...) a 'professional hairdresser' with a C&G qualification might look at the list and think "I have a professional qualification, so I'll tick that box".

I could not agree more, but then again I am a professional and I am not talking about men who wear flares and work for the fictitious CI5 (he he).

Now I know I'm being used but that's okay cause I like the abuse.

On 15/5/2009 there were 3 people with no qualifications, 1 with a level 1 and 7 with a level 2. Level 2 equates approximately to a GCSE at grades D and below.

Exactly so. Stats is dull, and it's easy to do, yet tedious in the extreme. Having seen many of my peers get through their degrees having to produce shedloads of stats (mostly aquatic ecology and psychology students) I never saw any of em take it seriously, and most made up the data.
Once you've learnt how to do stats, producing work from em is just a number crunching jobbe, ditto interpretation, which turns out 64.5% waffle anyhoo.
(Or it could be that I went through the system with a crowd of degenerates, statistically I doubt it.) These violent delights have violent ends and in their triumph die,
like fire and powder, which as they kiss consume.
