Gardening is for Masochists (15)

It's not safe (have you seen the blades on hedge trimmers?)

It's not sane (sane is sitting on a picnic blanket with an iced tea)

It sure as heck isn't consensual (The rose certainly didn't ask before ripping my poor arm to shreds!)

Life is good, gardening is bad! Before all you Domly Womly Ones out there start getting any ideas into your heads i am certain Allan will not hand me over for gardening duty. Even he isn't that sadistic ... right?

My last weekend was fantastic, totally unplanned, just great people taking time to spend it with friends. Am so very lucky to have people willing to fetch and carry me about and generally put in the time when Allan is too busy to even be at home LOL. To everyone who has made so much effort to put up with me lately, your good deeds will be repaid in your next lifetime, promise. On the downside, i will repay you in this lifetime by spending even more time with you!

xxXena (gradually catching up on the backlog)

PS why do i suddenly have visions of an advert with the title Sub For Rent, Comes With Own Chipper?

Actually the chipper is a boy's toy and I dont usually let Xena operate it unsupervised, if you want to borrow me, you will have to ask IceButch nicely seeing as how i am and i quote "her bitch"

Allan

PS you are welcome to borrow a chipperless Xena, who comes complete with her own gardening gloves!

The heading of this blog caught my attention.

It is one aspect of BDSM i have noticed some offer to do for their owners. To be honest i would not advocated it for a full session. Perhaps trimming grass borders with safety shears would be ok-but anything else needs consideration.

1) As stated by others the danger from sharp blades etc.

2) There is also the danger from machinery powered by mains voltage-just consider being naked and there is a sudden shower.

3)The is also the danger to the skin from certain species which contain irritant poisons eg Spurge. Then there are some of the highly toxic species which are grown-i suppose Laburnum ,and the beautiful, but deadly Monkshood-which needs to handled with extreme caution, spring to mind.

On hands and picking daisies and a few harmless weeds-YES. But for other duties perhaps the boring safe way is best.
