Ms Demmie, I just wondered how things were progressing with the PCC and the courts, and if Kirstie Allsopp has come out and made any kind of statement yet? I've noticed her making references to it on Twitter. Much like Jonathan King, Allsopp appears to do regular searches on her own name so that she can send messages to, or more often enter into online arguments with, anyone who mentions her. I'd say (or Tweet) something myself, but she scares me. Anyway, I hope things are better. The NOTW really are a bunch of bumclowns. | ||

A quick update - PCC complaint filed .... spoken to NOTW legal department PCC AND Alison Bridgeman at Russel Jones and Walker (google is your friend). Currently discussing what my options are. I had a look through her twitter posts - that comment about wasting police time was in reference to another discussion. She did refer to the NOTW article on the day it was published - said she loved the headline and that she did not give them the story. Edited 15th May to say this is now going the legal route. The UK papers don't seem very keen to report that Max Mosley has got Bild to pay around $300k to charity in return for dropping his libel action (well, they couldn't resist the Nazi angle, could they), and remember the recent Guardian revelations that the News of the World paid several hundred K to people whose mobile phone voicemail boxes they'd listened to (usually cos most people check from their own handset so don't think to change the default login for external access), ie the cost of crossing the line is going up. Have you asked your mobile phone provider for the logs of the numbers that have accessed your voicemail - just in case a NotW number turned up there - as it has elewhere ? | ||

I too was outed by Kirstie on Alan Carr's Chattyman Show, and guess what she made a judgement on my appearnce and size even though she wasn't there!!!! However she has acknowledged me now, yet still no appology; but she made Daily Mail apologise for publishing pictures and an article on her tash!!!!! Silly trollop lol! | ||

If it was the comments about the cave, you weren't outed IMO. No names were given, and only the briefest of descriptions about what you were doing and your age and size were given. You could, in fact, be anyone from that description (until now, when you've outed yourself). Oh give over lol! I didn't mean it quite like that, the fact that everyone who saw it knew it was me was interesting though! My point was more about the fact that she made a comment on my appearance, when she wasn't even there is was a 2nd hand story which was not factually correct. As it happens I posted a full story on here when it happened.

The PCC are pretty toothless - this matter has now been turned over to the lawyers. The page got removed by NOTW on receipt of their letter - apart from that we are still waiting.
