I am drawn to the sea in so many ways and when floating/swimming or merely being beside it, I always admire it's strength.
I adore it's feeling of tranquility but am never fooled by it's almighty strength. It does so remind me of women and dominance in so many ways.
Today the ocean is calling me.....
Who can recommend a place that can be travelled to quite easily - and is a beautiful place to be?
Be great to hear your ideas

A spend a lot of my time away from where I live, for various reasons, and always by the river whether walking or reading. One day I may even afford to live there. Here is my favourite line on the sea: Often 'tis in such gentle temper found M Space travels in my blood. And there ain't nothing I can do about it.

The north cornish coast is awesome, the lashing of powerful waves.

Yes. I like to have a picnic or fish and chips for supper at Pendeen Light or Cape Cornwall while watching the sunset. Sometimes pods of dolphins come into the bay at Cape Cornwall around dusk and you can see them leaping out of the water. Closer to London, I love it up over the East Cliff at Hastings. Actually I love most places by the sea. International man of mystery

How lovely for you - water is so calming I find. That is a most amazing quote - thank you. Do you know where it is from?

The slipway on Clevedon sea front, in summer she can be as calm as a mill pond, in winter she is ferocious.

Hmm i love the sea and love being in it. I love the feeling of being so tiny and insignificant. When i can i swim out so that i'm out of sight of land - totally surrounded by the ocean. I've had a couple of near accidents in the sea, but bizarrely it hasn't put me off. I nearly got run over by the Cromer lifeboat when i was a kid and then got swept out to sea from Worthing a few years later. One of the scariest things i've ever done is to 'dropped off' in the middle of the Atlantic, out of sight of any land or shipping and left in the dark for several hours. I'd hate to drown at sea. Despite what the movies project, it's an incredibly painful experience ..... freshwater drowning however ..... ..... hmmmm This communication was brought to you from the desk of the Pontiff Elect, the benchmark by which purity, holiness & normality are measured.
