That's it.
I've been with the Company 25 years and I leave, officially Sunday, with a modest payoff - the 'Golden Boot'.
I should feel apprehensive about it but I don't.
Why?
Because my poor health worries me more.
I am convinced I am not long for this world.
Fear.
The most powerful of emotions hovers around me all the time.
Sometimes I forget it... but not for long.
What to do in the time I have left?
I don't know.
Not much time but maybe plenty of thinking.
