What do you see as the difference?
I've only ever served couples!
The service, for me, although we indulge heavily in the dressing up side because we like that a lot. (I'm typing this looking a bit like a frilly monochrome Alice in Wonderland, as it happens - not the most practical of outfits, but light duties today and v pretty!) And it's not about the reward, though I'm honest enough with myself to acknowledge that I wouldn't do it without "reward". Which isn't as simple as a shopping list - e.g 1 hour's ironing = 1 hour's bondage - but this, as with any other relationship / arrangement needs to be a "win-win" thing, whether that's a bit of play afterwards when I've maided for friends at a dinner party, or now, when it's just who I am and what I do as part of a multi-faceted relationship. As for outdoor work, in civvies - absolutely. Wouldn't even cross my mind not to. Although I'd probably be rubbish at it if it was hard work! But some of my service includes carrying shopping bags etc. at times - not a rule, it's just a nice thing to do - and I certainly don't go to Sainsbury's in my finery...
(Although... it's very tempting!
Short, slow, and a bit easy.

Wasn't really sure, hence the question! There seems to be something of a crossover between the forced fem/cissification thing for some, less so for others. Not something I know a lot about, but have done 'chain gang' with orange prison suit and manacles, a bit of forced fem stuff, dressed up the girls in various ways. So I was wondering what people who like the sissy/frilly dressing thought about the contrasting styles - better to ask the people who know than make assumptions. Then there's the whole butler/man servant thing too. Why poison your liver when I could eat it for you?

Ah, get you. I guess I just use the word "maid" because that's the standard terminology in BDSM circles - I'm still a maid in my civvies. I'm sure there are others who feel differently though. Short, slow, and a bit easy.

Those are my feelings as well. The attraction is the opportunity to serve, work hard, and do a good job, as well as knowing I'm relieving the woman from having to do the work. For me, domestic service is quit a different kink than male maid. To each his own of course.

What a really interesting read this has been, didn't realise that there are so many that that long to serve without needing a reward... Although I think I would feel cheated if I didn't get to make Very good use of those who served Me.. Need so much more than just My house work done.. It is nice to read of sub's who have pride in providing quality work without trying to do something to warrant punnishment...

Not an attitude that I would find attractive as a service oriented maid. Hugs, Irene.

Mother Universe grants us skills and intuitions - seeds - that either grow in fertile soil or lie dormant in barren ground. Its possible for a boy to see his first car engine and feel something quicken inside his heart, isn't it? Love at first sight - and recognition of a lifetime's passion - he knows from that first encounter that his life will be intimately linked to cars, that he will grow up to win the Grand Prix... It was the same for me when I saw the inside of a kitchen cupboard for the first time. How easily the items could be re-arranged, in either a logical order or an order pleasing to the eye...or, sweetly, intoxicatingly, both at the same time.

aaaaaaaahhhh but would you get the same pleasure from re-arranging all the pots of screws, drill bits, spanners etc in my tool shed or does it have to be a kitchen?
Just asking as my tool shed is a mess right now after all the DIY I have been doing for friends lately

Like most men I too have a tool box, and like most men I regularly take out all my screws, nails, nuts, bolts, and brass tacks, and polish them until they gleam and sparkle as they should... |
