I don't find being made to wear girl's clothes and serve, just do what I am told, degrading. It's curiously empowering, or maybe liberating is a better word. I really like it, and strive to do a good job of whatever task(s) are set. Strange, though, that the girls I have had serve me, I have dressed in fetish gear, rather than boy clothes. I think I might try dressing one as a schoolboy, and see how that works. To return to a recurring theme, though, I know only too well that the reason so few dommes appear to be available for this, is that so many of the male maids are totally unreliable and self seeking - wanting to get their jollies by hook or by crook, if they actually turn up, and don't understand the first thing about either submission or service. Let alone actually doing the job they are set. It deters many women from bothering (I could give you a list!), and it makes it a nightmare for the genuine guys who really do have something to give. I'm quite good at domestic/housework and don't mind doing it at all. Whilst I have no desire to dress as a maid I do like the service side of submission. My Ma'am has experienced the very same problems, and I quite agree that this is problem. I guess there is very little one can do, other than demonstrate genuine servitude when in service to correct as best we can this perception that 'male maids' are just there to dress up and not get stuck into doing hard work. | |||

I think that quiet afew Dommes have been put off with the fact that to some male subs maid training is when they can put on a uniform , frilly knickers and ponce about with a feather duster. When i first tried it i was given the choice to either do it properly and maybe get rewarded with things for good work or just dress up as mentioned as above , i chose the work option. Also the lady who trained me said that the amount of people she had do jobs badly in order to get punished / spanked was very high , the punishment she gave them was being told not to come back. There are some good maids out there but also alot of people just looking out for themselves and own interests who give maids a bad name. Also the outfit and dressing can vary depending on whether the person wants a tv maid , sissy maid , male maid etc. now anyone know where i can find a maid as all my maid uniforms need ironing ;P

yes I agree that it is society in general and how we are brought up, I don't think it should make any differance whether you are male or female if in a more domestic role as a maid. But I too would feel humiliated and embarrassed being dressed as a maid.

I'm female and I would feel like a total berk dressed in one of those poncy frilly efforts.... Service isn't just about gratifying someone else - if the server likes it they get gratified too (as someone said - a sense of usefulness - I get that too). N x | |||
