So here I am. Uncomfortably warm yet cold at my desk, a half finished feature about the battle for civil liberties on the Interwebs glowering at me from my screen like a half finished vindaloo and the very final episode ever of Scrubs wiggling down the Interwebs towards me as a treat for when I finish.

It's going to be a long night. Least I hope it is. This shit needs to get done in like four hours.

I chalk my lateness up to an earlier distraction. S'all her fault. :)

Bawrf. Three hours left. Ish.

Wibble.

I like being my own worst enemy, because I know where I live and what I'm going to do next.

Yeah yeah... it's always a womans fault isn't it? ;)

I love scrubs though... :)

If I take you from behind, push myself into your mind When you least expect it, will you try to reject it? Give it up, do as I say; Give it up and let me have my way..

It's not always a woman's fault. Sometimes it's a shiny thing, or a collection of noises and colours. I'm not the most focussed worker.

Sheeeeee-it I am knackered.

Did you make the deadline though?

Why poison your liver when I could eat it for you?

Yeah. About half an hour to spare after I'd sorted the pics. I feel bloodied yet unbowed. Like I just climbed Everest and stole the yeti's picnic basket.

Well, there you go, well done matey! I know that feeling well.

Trouble is, it used to leave me feeling like a zombie the next day or two - can be hard to make zzz's after a sesh like that.

I've been a bit zombed anyway. Not fussed though. The work, she is done. So I can zomb myself around for a few days.
