He would like to get up to three needles between each knuckle/metacarpal bone but we found that the needles we had weren't long enough to put more than just the initial one between/behind the finger webs.

You then place of of the IC chips inside the finger stool and push the pins through the rubber so that they protrude, leaving the plastic part on the inside. Align the chip so that the pins run along the length of the finger stool.
