Hi All, Firstly apologise for the delay in posting the Afterlife thread on IC this month. This month it has been, stressful and problems have occurred. This is due to certain situations changing from the beginning of the months Afterlife, the closure of the vault last week and the management of the complex where Afterlife has been held in past events. Afterlife would like to take this opportunity to thank all that have supported Afterlife in attending the Afterlife events and within various threads and your comments made on Afterlife threads on IC. Just to stop all speculation regarding Afterlife, the Afterlife event and confirm what is happening regarding the scheduled event for this coming Saturday. The Afterlife event scheduled for this Saturday 2nd May 2009 will not be going a head at the location that Afterlife normally uses. Afterlife apologises for any inconvenience, disappointment this may have caused for the Afterlife event not to go a head in the venue used in the past. That you have planned to come along to the event, booked accommodation for the event. The past weeks and the beginning of this week, including today “Tuesday”, the management of the complex have made it impossible to put the event on with unreasonable terms and conditions that would have been in place for the event to go a head at the normal Afterlife venue. This was due to the complex management trying to push Afterlife and Afterlife personal into a corner with unreasonable terms and conditions, the management of the complex new that the event was scheduled to go a head this Saturday and refused to allow Saturday to go a head with out certain conditions and terms in place. In the meantime Afterlife personal and personal connected to Afterlife has been trying to find an alternative venue for the event to go ahead on Saturday 2nd May 2009 and future Afterlife events. At present no venue has been secured for events past Saturday 2nd May 2009. A venue for a one off has been secured for Saturday evening. These details will be given out to people wishing to attend. Email Trojan Steel, trojan_steel@hotmail.co.uk stating your profile name on IC, along with your Afterlife membership if you are a member of Afterlife, with in your email and emails only please. I must also state that this is a venue located in Lancashire, the location has adequate playrooms with various play equipment in the premises, but not set up for people to dance even though music can be played within the venue. The cost of the event will be £5.00 per person Fetish Dress Code still applies; A very friendly out going venue where fetish wear applies, PVC, Rubber, Leather, uniform, Erotic, Underwear, stockings, suspenders, Goth, TV all meet and play. i am delighted to see that Afterlife is going ahead and i for one and i am sure everyone who has attended Afterlife at some point all appreciate the very hard work that T_S and Tink put into hosting the event especially this month with all the barriers and problems they have had negotiate. i hope that You manage to secure a permanent new venue for Afterlife and so we dont lose another very fine event from the Northwest scene. We attended Afterlife together for the first time at the April event. Unfortunately we can't make May's due to work committments but would have loved to have been there to show some support to TS and the team.
