So today we celebrate Pink Sandy's birthday, this is her first birthday on IC ... which I think in itself is special!
Pink Sandy came into my life, via my best friend. When she came onto the scene, and took a fast shuttle from vanilla ville to kink kingdom, she may have been completely new to the scene, but her attitude and insight were not that of someone without scene knowledge, and even now will try and sway us with her “newbie status” which we think is now pushing it a bit far 
Being new has not stopped her at all; her personal insight astounds me amongst others who have been around a number of years. Her wisdom is something that has become a huge asset to the Simply Workshops Team. Sandy joined the Simply Workshops Team after being thrown in at the deep end, at the LamSkin2 special. By this point, Pink Sandy had only actually been aware of the scene for 6 months.
She worked tirelessly along with the other crew for 2 days to make the workshops the success they were, and has been a firm crew member ever since with valuable input. Besides being a regular at LAM, and the C-Munch, Pink Sandy made her club debut at Velvet Eden at Ceasers and has been back a time or two since, and has also been along to the BBB, as well as a few events in London.
Most of all, she has become soul mate to my best friend, she has made him incredibly happy and content. It will not surprise people who know SF, when I say that she has the same qualities of integrity, honesty, warmth, kindness, a fabulous sense of humour (she's just not as naughty as SF!! YET!!). Seeing them together is something that never fails to make me smile, and I KNOW they have one hell of a future together.
To those who have met Sandy, they will appreciate why this birthday post comes with such warmth, as I believe those who come into contact with her are fortunate to meet such a lovely person. Both myself and Badg1 feel very honoured to have Pink Sandy's as a treasured friend and someone we consider to be family, to have watched SF and Pink Sandy's relationship go from strength to strength has been something we would not have wanted to miss for the world.
So to Sandy, may you have the most amazing of birthdays, may you feel the warmth of the friends you have made, and experience the promise of friendships to come. May your experiences be wonderful ones. I always hope you feel as treasured and appreciated as you are.
May I ask the rest of you to post a birthday wish for Sandy, to celebrate her birthday, and let her know just what a special person she really is.

Well said, oh mynxy one  I've only known Sandy IRL for a couple of months, yet she has this hugely welcoming and open personality that make it seem like I have known her years. In the time I've known her she's been a supportive friend to me, something for which I've been very grateful.
It's wonderful to see her and da SFF so happy together, and equally awesome to find that she knows how to keep him in line Happy birthday, darling Sandy - may your day be filled with laughter and love, and spent in the company of those who are dearest to you. Looking forward to hanging out again soon - LAM this week perhaps? *Hugs* Beady.
