Equally, some (most?) dominants really like a submissive who is not immediately ready to fall at their feet. Certainly I know I am far from being an easy submissive, in the rest of my life I am strong and in control, and thus far (nearly a year into the relationship) I have not submitted quickly or easily. I feel immensely fortunate to have met someone with a seemingly endless supply of patience who has pushed me just hard enough - and he appreciates having someone who is strong and confident who submits to him (well, two someones now, my sister is an amazing woman).
