when I posted saying I was moving back to Uni. Because it was.
But the time between then and now feels like it's pretty much gone in the blink of an eye. If last year could be characterised by being surrounded by people I didn't know and not doing much as a result (even being surrounded by foreign people in halls that knew each other), this year can pretty much be seen as the opposite. The whole non-stop party drinking culture still annoys me, but there being life beyond the lecture theatre is nice indeed.
While in some senses so much has happened, in other senses nothing has at all really. Of course, I'm far to kind to bore you all with the details of both. If you want that kind of detail, perhaps just imagine something really cool and interesting, and something really boring, and pretend I wrote about them.
Of course, there have been thoughts about looking ahead towards other things. There may be a whole other year here still to go, but life beyond that is something being considered very strongly, and 3 years at Uni may well end up being a lot longer. That's if I survive the dissertation I'm writing on BDSM next year...
