I would imagine male submissives probably choose to put forth their pictures more often because it seems to be quite difficult to get female dommes to pay them attention.

Interestingly you may have a point. The sub dom ratios do alter through various ages with the swap over about 40. There may be other explanations for the change in ratios, eg subs getting no action so pretending to be dom will result in women being more likely to be open to approaches, or older men after a kinky shag realising saying they are dom may bring results. More research is needed.

Of course... But I think for a lot of submissive males, a photo seems to be the way forward; of somehow gaining greater legitimacy.

For all the women on here, they receive lots of mails from all kinds of people, so a good photo is probably a good way to do that in addition to a well-written, individually-focussed email.
