Does anybody else notice this, or is it just my imagination?
Sometimes despite every effort, it feels as if ones own energy is drained away, as if everybody close is sapping it, feeding off you, mainly because they NEED to.
And sometimes... theres a natural abundance of it, or as if ones own energy is so powerful that it spills and floods out.
(Or am I just having a "RAAAA" moment?) First person to call me an old hippy gets a smack.....

well yes .. but many people have disagreed with me over the years but i never listened to them because they were wrong and i was right ! i believe we only have a finite amount of everything, love, energy, life and the more we share it around the less there is to give ... if you give it all to one person then they get a lot .. if you share it amongst ten people then they get less ... it's simple maths this is not a view shared by the poly, hippy, lovefest, spread em wide types who seem to think that love is infinate ... but what the f**k do they know anyway ! all for one and fuck the rest | |

I hadnt even thought about monitoring the amount one "gives", I kinda felt it was an organic "flow", like MissD says, the more you give the more you receive, but then the thing about ensuring ones energy is "clean" after a therapy session would indicate you can use it for "commercial" purposes. I think I'd be uncomfortable with controlling my energy, and in that sense it suppose it does make me a bit of a hippy, but Andromalius still gets the smack... Thank you for your replies so far.
