Good luck I recently cracked mine took it back to hp said would be £280 for new screen took it to local computer shop they said don't bother normaly more than the lap tops actualy worth apprently. I just plug mine into the tv/pc monitor. If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life. |

Do a google search there are loads of companies who do it. Quite a few will do a pick up and delivery. I know because I looked into it a while ago Hope everything is ok with you little one. xxxxxxxxx Sweetiejar |

get your replacement screen off ebay (you should be able to pick one up for about £40) the manafacturer will end up chargeing you more than the laptop is worth. once you have the screen you should be able to find a place that will do the work for under £20. http://www.geocities.com/ALT_stream <= NEW SHOW 23/02/09! |

Last laptop screen I replace worked fine while I had it. Got back to the owner and worked for a bit and then died. Laptop screens can be a pain, mainly due to their expense and the fact that laptops only really last 3 years anyway so between a manufacturers warranty (if you went for it) and home insurance you should be covered for those 3 years. Beyond that it's time for a new laptop.
