Just a curious question to admin but what percentage of of ic users are using an Iphone? Just curious because I'm using one and I find IC really useable on mine. Although a full blown ic kinky app in the app store would be great. How can we grow old when we are not trying *The Delays | ||

Haven't got an iPhone but for some reason I'm unable to log into IC on my Nokia N95 - though I can log on to yahoo/hotmail/bank a/cs and LFS.
Can't live without web access on my phone now - will probably get an iPhone ... when I get a job/win the lottery/get a rich boyfriend etc etc. | ||

Try mini opera, it worked fine when I had a Nokia phone. I wish I had gone for a Nokia upgrade though as in retrospect it offers me more than the fancypants iPhone but I fancied the change. Ah well, my niece covets my iPhone so when the next upgrade comes along, I will be Auntie Number One when the iPhone goes to her.

I'm also an iPhone ic user I used to log into ic via my old Treo 650 too but the iPhone experience is much better. Even the stars look brighter tonight, Nothing's impossible | ||

From a hardware point they are virtually identical, the Touch is just missing the GSM module that is inside the iPhone, they have the same OS (some features are disabled on the Touch, some for obvious reasons (it's not a phone) others for commercial reasons), but the rest of the hardware is largely the same (architecture, processor, memory, screen), there are a few differences in the external buttons, but they are only cosmetic, although the Touch isn't stated as having Bluetooth if you know how you can actually turn it on as it uses the same Wifi/Bluetooth/FM radio chip (Broadcom BCM4325) and just requires a software tweak. They both use the same web browser, and have largely similar MAC addresses. So in short probably includes the iPod Touch as well. Edited 26 Mar 09, 9:35 AM by Mattbucks | ||
